Stress Management

In my bachelor’s program, I designed a stress management program for college students. I chose this topic because it’s very close to home for me, and I’d like to help other students in this area. The various stressors of the student population such as life, school, and work balance can be a daunting task for the student to maintain without the proper planning and coping skills. They are important to consider because they can make or break the student experience and success depending on how they are managed. Implementing a stress management and prevention program could significantly improve the student health, experience and success. Things to focus on would include time and resource management, mindfulness, meditation, and physical activity. Building up the college students stress prevention skills, management skills, and resilience, could lead to a happier, healthier, student body, and an improved overall experience as a student.
